Job Overview

The Accommodation Incharge will be placed within the hotel's management team, primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of the accommodation division to ensure the highest standards of guest service. This role is pivotal in shaping the first and last impression of guests' hotel experience, requiring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise the workflow of the Front Desk and Accommodation department during the shift.
• Greet guests and manage their check-in and check-out processes smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of room booking procedures and record updates.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and any complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness and standards.
• Supervise, train, and guide the accommodation team members.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Prepare daily reports related to occupancy, sales, and any relevant incidents.
• Assist in managing the reservation system and monitoring occupancy rates.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Proven previous experience in a similar role (Accommodation Incharge, Front Desk Supervisor) within the hotel sector.
• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Exceptional communication and listening skills with the ability to interact with guests from diverse cultures.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak times while maintaining composure and courtesy.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work in and manage a small team.
• Good knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a professional appearance and a strong focus on customer service details.
