Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The appointed Account Representative at SITA will serve as the primary interface responsible for developing and managing relationships with specific strategic clients in the Saudi market. The focus will be on ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and achieving business objectives. The core responsibilities expected for this role include:
- Account Management and Growth: Develop long-term strategic relationships with existing clients, deeply understanding their business needs to foster loyalty and increase the company's share of their business.
- Financial Target Achievement: Contributing to revenue and sales targets through contract renewals, upselling/cross-selling of solutions and services, and expanding the service scope within current accounts.
- Technical and Commercial Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of SITA's complex technology solutions in areas such as airline communications, airport systems, and passenger technology, and present them as business solutions that address client challenges.
- Internal Coordination: Act as the central liaison between the client and internal SITA teams such as technical support, delivery teams, and developers to ensure customer expectations are met and service is delivered seamlessly.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute account plans to drive growth, manage the contract renewal process, and negotiate terms that benefit all parties.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor trends in the local Saudi aviation industry, understand the competitive landscape, and identify new growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
Qualifications and Key Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this opportunity at SITA, you should meet the following criteria:
- Work Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in key account management, technical sales, or business consulting, preferably within the technology, aviation, logistics, or telecommunications sectors.
- Sector Knowledge: A solid understanding of the aviation and air transport industry (airports, airlines, aviation services) or the IT/Communications sector. This knowledge will be crucial in understanding client needs.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business analysis skills, understanding of financial structures, and the ability to build compelling value propositions focused on the customer's return on investment (ROI).
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. High-level negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build trust and manage relationships with senior corporate executives.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and achieving targets in a dynamic work environment.
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Aviation, or Engineering.
