Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The selected accountant will be primarily responsible for managing the complete Accounts Receivables cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing. Key responsibilities include:

• Invoice and Receivables Management: Issuing customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner, following up on outstanding receivables, and ensuring collections are made according to agreed credit terms.
• Reconciliation and Matching: Accurately applying customer payments to invoices and outstanding credits. Performing regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure they are error-free.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing periodic reports on the status of accounts receivable, aging reports, and providing clear analysis to management for decision-making.
• Customer Communication: Dealing professionally with customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments, working to resolve any discrepancies or disputes promptly and effectively.
• Compliance and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with the company's internal financial policies and procedures, as well as generally accepted accounting principles.
• Month-End Close Support: Assisting in monthly and year-end closing processes by verifying the accuracy of accounts receivable data.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivables management. Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Practical knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is a major plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English. The ability to work accurately under pressure, and strong organizational and time-management skills. High integrity and reliability in handling sensitive financial data.
• Knowledge: A solid understanding of accounting principles and the revenue cycle.
