The appointed Accountant will be responsible for managing and executing a range of vital accounting and financial tasks within the factory, including but not limited to:

• Financial Accounts Management: Accurately recording all daily financial transactions in the books of accounts or the electronic accounting system. This includes sales and purchase invoices, expenses, and revenues.
• Cost Accounting: Monitoring and analyzing production costs, including raw material costs, direct labor, and manufacturing overheads. This analysis contributes to determining the final product cost and assists management in making informed pricing and cost-optimization decisions.
• Inventory Management: Coordinating with the warehouse department to account for inventory movement (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods). Conducting periodic stock counts and reconciling physical balances with book balances.
• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of periodic financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, cost analysis reports, and presenting them to senior management.
• Reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements, following up on accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with the company's internal accounting policies and applicable tax laws and regulations in Kuwait.
• Administrative Support: Providing necessary financial and administrative support to factory management and participating in internal audit processes as required.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Work Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in the accounting field. Previous experience working within an industrial, manufacturing, or factory environment is a significant competitive advantage.
