The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the sales and catering department, focusing on promoting and selling wedding and celebration services. Key Expected Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Consultations: Handling incoming inquiries from potential clients, conducting engaging site tours of the hotel's facilities, and preparing comprehensive and attractive proposals for wedding packages.
  • Client Servicing: Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, meticulously understanding their requirements and expectations to provide innovative solutions that meet all their event needs.
  • Internal Coordination: Acting as the central liaison between the client and various hotel departments such as Food & Beverage, Banquet, Accommodation, Decor, and Guest Services to ensure smooth and precise execution of all details.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with contract preparation, following up on payments, updating sales records, and generating reports on wedding sales performance.
  • Development Contribution: Participating in the development of new wedding packages and promotional offers to attract a broader client base.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must align with Marriott International's high standards and possess the following skills:

  • Experience: Proven previous experience (typically a minimum of 2-3 years) in hotel sales, event and catering sales, with a strong preference for those with specific experience in the wedding sector.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Strong listening skills and the ability to persuade and build rapport with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Customer & Service Orientation: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences, with a deep understanding of the significance and uniqueness of a wedding celebration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in common computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) and hotel catering/event booking systems (such as Delphi.fdc or similar) is a distinct advantage.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
