Job Overview
The Associate Director in this role will play a central part in leading and coordinating multiple, interconnected processes aimed at ensuring resident/stakeholder satisfaction, maintaining project reputation, and complying with the highest operational and security standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated strategies that link day-to-day community management, quality assurance programs, meticulous project handover procedures from the developer to the management entity, and establishing effective Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead Community Management: Oversee the daily operations of managing residential or commercial communities, ensuring high-quality service delivery to residents and businesses, and fostering an exceptional user experience.
- Develop & Manage Quality Assurance (QA) Programs: Design and implement comprehensive QA frameworks to review all handover processes and services. Conduct regular audits, analyze data, and create continuous improvement plans to address any shortcomings.
- Manage Project Handover Process: Lead and coordinate the smooth and efficient handover of new projects from the development/construction division to the operations and community management teams. Ensure all technical and documentation requirements are complete and meet agreed-upon standards.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Strategy: Develop, monitor, and enforce robust policies and procedures to prevent the loss or leakage of sensitive data. Ensure processes comply with local and international privacy and cybersecurity standards.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage a multidisciplinary team, provide guidance and training, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across community, quality, handover, and data security domains.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles, with a proven focus on facilities/community management, quality assurance, project management, and/or information security.
- In-depth understanding of real estate project handover processes in the Gulf region, specifically within the UAE context.
- Strong practical knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO) and information security/data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, local data regulations).
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities in both English and Arabic (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems and procedures.
