Job Description and Key Responsibilities

• Client Requirement Analysis: Conduct meetings with potential and existing clients to thoroughly understand their technical needs regarding Audiovisual (AV) Systems, conferencing solutions, control rooms, and integrated digital solutions.
• Technical Solution Design: Develop and design detailed, comprehensive engineering schematics for AV systems. This includes selecting appropriate components (speakers, displays, conferencing systems, control systems, cabling, etc.), performing load calculations, and ensuring compatibility between all elements.
• Preparation of Technical & Commercial Proposals: Prepare professional proposals and detailed quotations that reflect the designed solutions, clearly outlining the value proposition and competitive advantages.
• Technical Support for Sales Team: Provide in-depth technical support to the sales team throughout all stages of the sales cycle, from initial presentation to closing the deal, and answering complex technical inquiries.
• Keeping Abreast of Latest Technologies: Stay continuously updated on the latest trends and technologies in the audiovisual and digital integration market to ensure the delivery of modern and highly efficient solutions.
• Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with procurement, project implementation, and post-sales support teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed and delivered to the client according to the highest standards.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or equivalent).
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Presales Engineer / AV Design Engineer) in the Gulf market, with preference given to those with experience in the Qatari market.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Deep knowledge of Audiovisual (AV) and Video Conferencing system components.
  • Proficiency in using relevant engineering design software such as AutoCAD, and audio simulation software (e.g., EASE).
  • Good understanding of global standards and protocols in the field (such as HDBaseT, Dante, Crestron, Extron, AMX).
• Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical and clear solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple proposals and projects simultaneously.
