Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of daily operational tasks within a grocery store (Bakala), aimed at ensuring smooth workflow and delivering excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers appropriately, responding to their inquiries, assisting them in locating desired products, and providing suitable recommendations.
- Sales & Cashier Operations: Operating the cash register (POS) to record sales, handle cash transactions, issue receipts, and ensure the accuracy of financial dealings.
- Stocking & Arranging Merchandise: Assisting with unloading incoming shipments, arranging products on shelves in an organized and attractive manner, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
- Inventory Monitoring: Assisting in stock inventory counts and reporting low-stock or expired items to the direct supervisor.
- Maintaining Standards: Adhering to the store's hygiene, health, and safety standards, and ensuring products are displayed according to guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
The company is looking to hire motivated and reliable candidates. The required qualifications include:
- Educational Level: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage, but the position is also suitable for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
