BIM Lead Project Delivery - Mace (Dubai)

The position is for a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Lead for Project Delivery, a strategic role designed to lead and deliver complex projects using the latest building information modeling methodologies.

Job Overview

The BIM Lead will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing the BIM strategy and execution across a major project or a portfolio of projects in Dubai. This role is central to ensuring that modeling, information management, and coordination between various engineering disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) are conducted with high efficiency to meet project objectives regarding quality, time, and cost.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and develop the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) in alignment with company standards and client requirements.
• Manage the BIM team, including coordinators and modelers, assigning tasks, and ensuring output quality.
• Oversee the creation and development of multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Organize and facilitate BIM coordination meetings to resolve design clashes between disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with international and local BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and company protocols.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the BIM team and other stakeholders (project management, clients, contractors, consultants).
• Prepare regular progress reports on BIM deliverables, risks, and challenges.
• Contribute to the development of standard component libraries and workflow tools to improve efficiency.
• Train and support team members and project participants on relevant BIM protocols and software tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of practical experience in construction, with a strong focus on BIM management and implementation on major projects.
• Proven leadership experience in managing BIM teams.
• Deep proficiency in modeling software such as Revit, and coordination tools like Navisworks. Knowledge of BIM 360/Acc is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of construction project workflows and building lifecycles.
• Excellent knowledge of global BIM standards and best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
