Job Description

The appointed BMC Helix Consultant will be a core member of the projects and consulting team. The primary focus will be on providing technical and consultative expertise related to the BMC Helix platform, a comprehensive suite of service and operations management solutions. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand their operational needs, design appropriate solutions, implement them, and ensure their success.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Solution Analysis & Design: Collaborate with clients to analyze current ITSM processes and design tailored solutions using the BMC Helix platform to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implementation & Configuration: Lead or actively participate in projects involving the implementation and configuration of various BMC Helix modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management.
• Integration: Design and implement integration processes between the BMC Helix platform and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Training & Support: Provide training, coaching, and technical documentation for the client's team. Offer post-implementation support and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Best Practices: Apply industry best practices and global standards (like ITIL) across all delivered solutions and processes.
• Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, understand their expectations, and ensure their satisfaction with the services delivered.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Technical Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in consulting and implementing BMC Helix solutions or similar ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Deep understanding of the ITIL framework (v3 or v4); a relevant certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience in configuring and customizing core BMC Helix modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Service Request Management).
• Good knowledge of integration concepts (REST API, SOAP) and databases.
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

Personal Skills:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic is a plus), with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
