Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Bunker Trader will be a core member of the company's sales and trading desk, with central responsibilities including:

  • Trading and Negotiation: Executing the purchase and sale of marine fuels (Bunker Fuel) from suppliers and to clients, focusing on securing the best possible prices and commercial terms for the company's benefit.
  • Portfolio and Client Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients in the shipping and maritime transport sector, including ship owners, fleet managers, and shipping companies.

  • Commercial Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and close deals under pressure. The candidate must possess strong business acumen and a results-driven focus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and market trends using specialized tools and platforms (e.g., Platts, Argus).
