Job Opportunity: Business Analyst (Non-IT) in Kuwait
The prominent recruitment platform KUWAIT JOBS HERE is currently hiring for a Business Analyst (Non-IT) position located in Mubarak Al-Kabeer - Al-Qurain, Kuwait. This role presents a significant opportunity for ambitious professionals to join a dynamic work environment and contribute to enhancing organizational operational performance through meticulous analysis and actionable insights.
Job Overview
The Non-IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between a company's strategic goals and its day-to-day operational processes. Unlike technical business analysts who focus on software and IT system requirements, this position concentrates on the practical and administrative aspects of business. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding current workflows, identifying weaknesses and bottlenecks, and designing and implementing practical solutions to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality and service levels.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business and administrative processes within the department or organization.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate meetings with stakeholders from various departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Logistics) to fully understand their needs and challenges.
- Process Documentation: Create workflow diagrams, process models, and procedural documentation that illustrate the current and proposed states.
- Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Discover areas of inefficiency, resource waste, and task duplication, and propose practical improvements.
- Solution Development: Design practical, procedural (not necessarily technical) solutions to address identified issues, such as restructuring procedures, introducing new working methods, or improving communication channels.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare preliminary analyses to estimate expected benefits (financial and operational) versus the costs of implementing proposed improvements.
- Change Management: Assist in planning the implementation of proposed changes and communicate with concerned teams to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
- Monitoring Outcomes: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions post-deployment and prepare performance and achievement reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role as a Business Analyst, Process Improvement Consultant, or in a managerial position with a strong analytical focus.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to form clear insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply to a diverse audience.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to deconstruct complex problems, identify root causes, and think creatively about solutions.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in office tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel for analysis, Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart for diagramming, Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations).
- Knowledge of Process Management Principles: Understanding of concepts like workflow management, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and continuous improvement principles (knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma is a plus).
- Personal Skills: The ideal candidate should be organized, able to manage time effectively, work well within a team, and possess strong interdepartmental communication skills.
