Job Description
The Business Development Manager will be appointed to a pivotal role, responsible for leading growth initiatives and creating new business opportunities for the company. The manager will work closely with the senior management team to formulate and execute strategies that meet ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying Growth Opportunities: Researching new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and identifying potential clients and strategic partners across various sectors within Kuwait.
- Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing effective sales plans and market entry strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, negotiating deals and contracts to ensure mutual satisfaction and build long-term partnerships.
- Managing the Sales Cycle: Overseeing the entire sales cycle, from the planning and prospecting stage to closing and follow-up.
- Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular performance reports, analyzing data to measure strategy effectiveness, and proposing improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with marketing, product, and service departments to ensure the delivery of integrated value propositions to clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Previous experience working within the Kuwaiti or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market is a significant competitive advantage.
- A deep understanding of the business environment and commercial culture in Kuwait.
Personal and Professional Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Arabic and English).
- Strong ability to build and maintain a professional network (Networking).
- Strong analytical skills for opportunity assessment and presentation preparation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team spirit.
