A leading and rapidly growing company in the Saudi market is now accepting applications for the position of Business Development Manager to be based in either Riyadh or Dammam. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Business Development Manager will hold a strategic position within the organizational structure, serving as the primary driver for expansion efforts and market share growth. Core responsibilities will focus on:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to achieve the company's financial and strategic growth objectives.
  • Identifying new market opportunities, promising sectors, and potential strategic partnerships to drive revenue pipelines.
  • Building and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships with key existing and prospective clients.
  • Leading complex sales cycles from initial opportunity identification through to closing major deals.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to guide strategic decisions and develop unique value propositions.
  • Preparing professional proposals, presentations, and conducting commercial negotiations.
  • Working closely with marketing, project, and operations teams to ensure successful plan execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing detailed periodic reports on performance, activity plans, and sales forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is a strong advantage.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in business development or strategic sales, with a demonstrable track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales and expansion targets.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep and proven experience working within the Saudi Arabian market, with a solid understanding of the local business environment, culture, and regulations. Knowledge of the broader GCC markets is advantageous.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to lead and motivate teams, work independently, and make strategic decisions.
  • Personal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills (both verbal and written). The ability to build relationships at the highest levels.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
