Job Description and Responsibilities

The Cards Product Manager will hold a pivotal role in leading the entire lifecycle of card products (credit, debit, prepaid, and digital). The core responsibility will be to develop and execute the product strategy that aligns with overarching business goals and exceeds customer expectations in a rapidly evolving market.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Strategy and Planning: Define and own the comprehensive strategy for card products, including developing the Product Roadmap. Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and customer needs to identify growth and innovation opportunities.
• Product Development and Management: Lead the product development process from initial concept through launch and beyond. Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful implementation of new products and enhanced features.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of existing card products using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Utilize data-driven insights to make proactive decisions for improving product performance, increasing adoption, and enhancing profitability.
• Customer Experience and Satisfaction: Maintain a strong focus on improving the overall Customer Experience for all card products. Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all card products comply with local and international regulations, industry security standards (such as PCI DSS), and best practices in risk management.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Act as the central liaison between all product-related departments. Inspire the team and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a track record of achievement in product management within the financial services or FinTech sector.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in product management, with a strong focus on card products (credit/debit) in a banking, financial institution, or FinTech company environment.
• Deep understanding of the card lifecycle, card issuance processes, payment systems, and emerging technological trends (e.g., digital wallets, mobile payments).
• Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and make strategic business decisions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant payment and financial compliance regulations in the Gulf region.
• Experience working with product development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• High-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external partners.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
