Job Overview

The successful candidate will be integrated into the logistics and food support services team of Teyseer, a company known for providing integrated service solutions to major corporations in Qatar, particularly those operating in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area, which hosts numerous energy and processing facilities. The supervisor will be directly responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of catering services provided to workers or clients, ensuring strict adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operational Supervision: Directly supervise the catering services team and personnel on-site, organize shift schedules, and ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Quality & Quantity Control: Monitor the quality and quantity of food served, ensuring it meets required specifications and client/employee expectations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with local and international food safety regulations (such as HACCP), hygiene standards, and all relevant health codes applicable in Qatar.
  • Inventory & Procurement Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of food items and supplies, coordinate with suppliers, and aid in ordering and receiving processes to maintain service continuity.
  • Training & Development: Train new team members and oversee their skill development to ensure excellent service delivery.

  • Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on operations, consumption levels, quality observations, and present them to direct management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: A diploma or university degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Nutrition Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in supervising catering services or restaurant operations, with preference given to experience in industrial environments, large project sites, or mass catering service companies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food safety principles, hygiene standards, and standard operating procedures in kitchens and food services.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, coupled with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Organizational Skills: High-level organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area, which may require flexible hours or shift patterns as per site requirements.
