The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing an unprecedented period of strategic transformation in line with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030. This comprehensive transformation, spanning economic, social, and governmental sectors, is creating surging demand for specialized professionals in Change Management. These roles are no longer a consultative luxury but a critical necessity to ensure the success of major initiatives and a smooth transition to new ways of working.

Job Description

You will be at the heart of transformational processes within Saudi companies and institutions. You will be responsible for leading and executing change management plans designed to facilitate the adoption of new initiatives, modern technologies, and evolving organizational structures. You will act as the bridge between high-level strategy and employees on the ground, ensuring everyone understands the vision and is equipped with the tools and motivation to participate effectively in the change journey.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Change Management Strategies: Design comprehensive plans that address the human and technical sides of transformation, in collaboration with stakeholders and project leaders.
  • Conduct Change Impact and Risk Assessments: Identify how new initiatives will affect different teams and processes, and anticipate potential challenges and resistance points.
  • Communication and Engagement: Create and implement effective communication plans to explain the 'why' and 'benefits' of change to employees at all levels, maintaining transparency throughout the journey.
  • Manage Resistance to Change: Develop mechanisms and interventions to address employee concerns, and build advocacy and support for new transformations.
  • Capability Building and Training: Work with L&D teams to ensure employees acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the new environment.
  • Measure Effectiveness and Evaluate: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track change adoption and the success of transformation initiatives, providing regular reports to management.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for these leadership roles in the vibrant Saudi market, you will need a combination of skills and experience:

Core Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) are a significant advantage.
  • Proven hands-on experience (typically 5+ years) in organizational change management, or project management with a strong focus on the people side of change.
  • Deep knowledge of global change management models and frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci methodology).
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to all levels of management.
  • Strong understanding of the business environment and ongoing transformations in Saudi Arabia, particularly within the context of Vision 2030.

Essential Personal Skills:

  • Leadership and Influence: The ability to lead change without direct authority and inspire others to follow the vision.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Understanding team sentiments and motivations, and navigating situations with flexibility and empathy.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: The capacity to see the big picture, analyze complexities, and devise practical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
