• Academic Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA are a strong advantage and often preferred or required.
• Experience: Proven track record of at least 15 years in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., Finance Director, VP of Finance). Prior experience as a CFO is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and corporate laws in Bahrain and the GCC region.
