City OS Product Manager - Starlink WLL - Doha, Qatar

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The successful Product Manager will be placed at the core of the developmental and strategic operations for the City OS platform. Primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Defining and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for the City OS platform, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives and market needs in Qatar and the wider region.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from initial conception and planning, through development and testing, to launch, marketing, and continuous iteration and improvement.
- Requirements Definition: Working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Sales teams) and potential clients to conduct market analysis, understand user needs, and clearly define Product Requirements (PRDs).
- Product Development: Leading collaboration with engineering and technical development teams to ensure product features are implemented according to specification, timeline, and quality standards.
- Competitive & Performance Analysis: Conducting ongoing market and competitor research, and analyzing product performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate success and identify areas for enhancement and growth.
- Communication & Coordination: Acting as the central liaison between all product-related departments, ensuring cross-functional alignment on priorities and goals. Preparing regular progress reports for senior management on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar technical discipline. A Master's degree (MBA or technical) is a strong advantage.
- Professional Experience: Proven hands-on experience of at least 5 years in technical product management, preferably within complex software systems, SaaS platforms, or smart city/IoT solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum) and product management methodologies. Knowledge of modern tech environments like cloud computing, APIs, and data analytics is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, motivate individuals, and make strategic decisions.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling complex issues, coupled with superior verbal and written communication abilities in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Results-Driven Orientation: A passion for building successful, user-centric products that deliver tangible business value.
