Civil Project Manager – Albalatin Contracting Company (Jubail)

Albalatin Contracting Company Ltd (LLC) is actively recruiting for the position of "Project Manager – Civil" to be based in Jubail Industrial City, a premier industrial hub in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and globally. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Civil Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful closure of civil construction projects. He/She will be the primary point of accountability for ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and in adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety. Core responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Planning: Leading the project team including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Developing comprehensive project plans, realistic schedules, and detailed budgets.
• Execution Management: Directly supervising all on-site execution phases, from earthworks and foundations to concrete structures and finishing works. Ensuring full compliance with approved technical specifications and regulations.
• Quality & Safety Control: Implementing and enforcing rigorous quality and safety management systems. Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring all work is performed according to engineering best practices and occupational safety standards.
• Resource Management: Effectively coordinating human resources, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth workflow without delays. Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Communication & Reporting: Acting as the key liaison between company management, clients, and other stakeholders. Preparing detailed periodic reports on work progress, risks, and budget status.
• Risk Management: Proactively identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree or advanced professional certifications (e.g., PMP) will be a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing civil construction and building projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering major projects. Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects within the Gulf region is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, reading drawings and specifications, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Thorough understanding of quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO).
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and managerial abilities. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills under pressure. Accuracy, discipline, and reliability are essential.
• Other Requirements: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is beneficial. Applicants must have a valid Saudi residency (Iqama) or be eligible to obtain one.
