Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Civil Project Manager will be entrusted with a range of core responsibilities focused on ensuring project delivery within defined quality, time, and budget constraints. Primary duties include:

• Leadership & Planning: Leading the project team from inception through final handover. Developing comprehensive project plans encompassing schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Execution & Supervision: Directly overseeing all stages of the civil project, from initial design to on-ground execution and final completion. Ensuring compliance with all technical specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.
• Resource Management: Efficiently managing the project's human and material resources. This involves coordinating the work of contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Quality & Cost Control: Continuously monitoring project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan, and implementing necessary corrective actions. Tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
• Communication & Reporting: Acting as the primary liaison between all project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and the technical team. Preparing detailed periodic reports on project status, achievements, and challenges.
• Safety Assurance: Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university. A Master's degree or advanced professional certifications (e.g., PMP) will be a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in civil project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience in projects related to the oil & gas sector, commercial, or industrial infrastructure will be highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and methodologies. Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Personal Skills & Leadership Abilities:
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards goal achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
  • High problem-solving aptitude and decision-making ability under pressure.
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
