Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Cloud Migration Architect will be the cornerstone of projects transforming clients' IT infrastructure from traditional on-premises systems to modern cloud environments. The core responsibilities of this strategic and execution-focused role will include:

• Leading and Designing Migration Strategies: Developing comprehensive and detailed cloud migration plans (Migration Playbooks) that align with clients' business, financial, and technical objectives. This includes selecting appropriate cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and vendor platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Analyzing and Assessing Current Infrastructure: Conducting in-depth assessments of clients' existing technical environments (Discovery & Assessment) to identify applications and workloads suitable for migration, estimate costs, and analyze risks.
• Designing Secure Architecture: Designing resilient, scalable, and highly secure cloud architectures. Designs must incorporate considerations for networking, identity and access management, data protection, and compliance with local and international standards.
• Overseeing Implementation and Management: Leading or providing technical oversight to implementation teams during the actual migration phases (Lift and Shift, Refactoring, etc.). Ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Continuous Optimization: Monitoring and evaluating the performance of post-migration cloud environments, proposing continuous improvements to maximize efficiency and optimize costs.
• Communication and Consulting: Acting as a trusted consultant to client stakeholders, from senior management to technical teams, explaining benefits, challenges, and technical recommendations in clear, accessible language.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
