Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful designer for this role will hold a pivotal position within the design and production department. The core focus will be on the creative and technical aspects of embroidery design, requiring a blend of technical skill and aesthetic taste.

The primary expected responsibilities include:

• Creating and developing original, innovative embroidery designs using specialized computer embroidery design software (e.g., Wilcom, Tajima DG/ML, or similar).
• Converting client or marketing team-provided artwork, logos, and artistic concepts into digital files ready for execution on automated embroidery machines.
• Adjusting technical design settings such as stitch types, density, thread directions, and color sequencing to achieve the optimal aesthetic and practical outcome.
• Collaborating closely with the production team to test designs on various fabrics and ensure quality and accuracy of execution before bulk production.
• Reviewing and editing existing designs based on client feedback or product development requirements.
• Maintaining an organized library of digital design files.
• Staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies in garment and textile embroidery.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Proven practical experience in the field of computer embroidery design.
• Strong proficiency in at least one specialized embroidery design software (e.g., Wilcom or Tajima programs).

• A keen artistic eye and strong attention to detail and precision.
