Consultant - CMS (Siebel L2) - Malomatia, Doha

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The appointed consultant will join the Customer Management Services (CMS) team and will be responsible for a range of critical technical tasks and operational functions, including:
- Support and Maintenance: Providing second-level (L2) technical support for the Siebel platform, encompassing troubleshooting, resolving operational issues, and ensuring service continuity.
- Management and Development: Participating in the management, development, and customization of Siebel CRM applications to meet specific client requirements.
- Integration: Working on the integration of the Siebel system with other systems within the client's IT infrastructure.
- Documentation: Preparing and updating technical documentation, including user manuals, design documents, and operational guides.
- Training and Support: Offering technical support and training to Level 1 (L1) support staff and end-users as needed.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensuring all solutions and modifications comply with the company's quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years working directly with the Oracle Siebel CRM platform, with a focus on L2 support and development roles.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Siebel architecture and applications (e.g., Siebel Tools, eScript, Workflows, Business Services).
- Strong knowledge of query languages and databases (SQL).
- Experience with Siebel integration processes (EAI, Web Services).
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts and Business Processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and the capacity to work effectively within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a consulting environment or with technology service providers, along with any Siebel-certified credentials, will be a strong added advantage.
