Job Description
The Demand Planning Senior Specialist will hold a pivotal role within Nahdi's Supply Chain Management team. This position will be primarily responsible for developing and executing accurate demand forecasting models for products across the extensive branch network. The role aims to achieve the optimal balance between product availability for consumers and minimizing operational costs associated with inventory.
Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and run advanced statistical forecasting models for pharmaceutical and healthcare product demand, considering seasonal, promotional, and market trend factors.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze historical sales data, inventory levels, and external factors to generate accurate forecasts.

- Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates and service levels, and propose actions for improvement.

- System Utilization: Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and advanced planning tools (such as SAP APO or similar) to execute tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration (Operations or Logistics concentration), Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a similar discipline. A Master's degree may be an added advantage.
