- Assisting in the meticulous quality control of incoming ingredients and ensuring their proper storage.

- Participating in daily mise-en-place and assisting in the development of new and innovative dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Supervising and training Commis Chefs, providing guidance to ensure team efficiency.
- Managing section inventory and assisting with cost control and waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensuring the proper care and maintenance of kitchen equipment and the section.
Qualifications and Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:
- A certification in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven practical experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar role (Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie) within a luxury hotel kitchen or high-end restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and international ingredients.
- A strong understanding and strict adherence to food safety and health practices (HACCP).
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and precision.

- Flexibility to work during various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
- Good command of the English language for communication; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
