Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for the complete technical design and estimation cycle for fire-rated door and joinery systems across projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Technical & Engineering Design: Preparing detailed shop drawings and technical designs for various types of fire-rated doors (wood, metal, composite) and integrated joinery work. Ensuring all designs fully comply with project specifications and local/international fire safety codes and regulations.
• Quantity & Cost Estimation: Conducting precise calculations for required raw materials (timber, steel, fire-resistant glass, frames, locks, hinges, insulating materials) and preparing comprehensive quotations and cost estimates for project tenders or ongoing projects.
• Coordination & Quality Assurance: Working closely with project managers, site engineers, material suppliers, and installation teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
