Job Description and Responsibilities

The Digital Operations Manager will hold a strategic position within the organization, responsible for a wide range of pivotal tasks:

  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital operations strategy, aligned with overarching business objectives. Establish detailed operational plans and ensure the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Operations Management and Optimization: Oversee the day-to-day flow of all digital operations, from content management systems and e-commerce platforms to supporting technical infrastructure. Drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices and leveraging new technologies.
  • Team and Project Management: Lead a cross-functional team of developers, digital marketing specialists, and data analysts. Manage the full lifecycle of digital projects from planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
  • Data and Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital initiatives using appropriate analytics tools. Provide regular reports to senior management with data-driven recommendations for optimization and proactive decision-making.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop the digital department's budget and oversee expenditures. Evaluate and select technology vendors and external service providers to ensure optimal value.
  • Quality and Security Assurance: Develop and implement policies and standards to ensure the quality of digital products, information security, and data protection, in compliance with local and international regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Marketing. A postgraduate degree (Master's) or professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Digital Transformation are strong advantages.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the digital field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager or Team Lead) demonstrating a proven track record of successfully leading digital operations and projects. Experience in the Kuwaiti or GCC market is highly regarded.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong understanding of e-commerce concepts, digital marketing, and information security principles.
  • Personal and Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team motivation abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
