Job Overview
The Digitalisation & Innovation Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy across the group. This role will focus on identifying emerging technological opportunities, leading innovation initiatives, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital developments in the Bahraini and regional market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the group's digital transformation vision and strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Lead the identification and assessment of emerging technologies and digital solutions that can enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
- Manage the lifecycle of digital innovation projects from ideation to implementation, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging creative thinking and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Oversee the integration of new digital systems and ensure their compatibility with existing technological infrastructure.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of digital initiatives, reporting on ROI and progress to senior management.
- Stay abreast of digital market trends, industry best practices, and relevant local regulations.
- Collaborate with various department heads to understand their operational needs and provide tailored digital solutions.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA with a technology focus) will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital transformation, innovation management, or technology consulting roles, with proven leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation frameworks, innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Agile), and project management.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data, AI, IoT, and automation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
- A proven track record of leading and implementing successful digital initiatives that delivered tangible business outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
