Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Projects Coordination Engineer will be a pivotal member of the project team, contributing to the seamless execution of operations according to set timelines, technical standards, and budgetary constraints. The primary responsibilities associated with this role include:

• Project Coordination & Monitoring: Oversee the progress of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules, defined budgets, and technical specifications.
• Communication & Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between various project stakeholders, including design and engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal company departments.
• Reporting: Develop and present detailed periodic status reports on projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, potential risks, and mitigation plans.
• Document Management: Ensure the accurate and efficient flow of technical documentation, engineering drawings, change requests, meeting minutes, and all relevant contractual documents.
• Planning & Scheduling Support: Assist in preparing detailed project plans and work schedules using specialized tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera), and monitor their implementation.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Contribute to the application and implementation of stringent quality assurance and occupational safety standards across all project phases.
• Problem Solving: Identify operational or technical obstacles hindering project progress and participate in developing practical and effective solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related engineering discipline relevant to construction.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in engineering project management or coordination, with a strong preference for direct experience in Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects or major infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Practical knowledge of project management tools (Primavera P6 is a distinct advantage).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project lifecycle stages.
