Five Keys Hospitality Services LLC is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their operations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This position represents a key leadership role within the emirate's thriving hospitality sector, with overall responsibility for overseeing all housekeeping and cleaning operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Executive Housekeeper will play a central role in upholding the establishment's reputation by ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests. The core responsibilities for this leadership position include:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Leading, guiding, training, and motivating the housekeeping team to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. This includes scheduling and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing high-quality standards and operating procedures for all cleaning processes. Conducting regular and surprise inspections of all areas (guest rooms, public areas, back of house) to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Operational Management: Overseeing inventory and stock of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linen, ensuring optimal stock levels. Managing the departmental budget and controlling costs without compromising quality.
  • Communication & Coordination: Working closely with other departments such as Front Office, Maintenance, and F&B to coordinate operations and ensure a seamless guest experience. Addressing guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the housekeeping team's compliance with all local health and safety regulations. Implementing training programs for the safe use of chemicals and equipment.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

To be eligible for this leadership opportunity, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: Proven work experience of at least 5 years in a similar role (Executive Housekeeper or Senior Supervisor) within the hospitality sector (hotels, resorts, serviced apartments).
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hotel housekeeping operations, international cleaning standards, and best practices in inventory and cost control.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and build team spirit among a diverse workforce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational ability, priority management, and the capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a distinct advantage.
  • Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
