Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will be the primary leader responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operational aspects of one or multiple F&B outlets. The focus will be on ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and profitability. Core responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Development: Lead and inspire a complete team of managers, supervisors, and restaurant staff. Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs to enhance team skills and ensure superior service delivery.
• Daily Operational Management: Directly supervise all daily operations including service, quality, cleanliness, safety, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Quality & Standards Control: Monitor and ensure the consistent maintenance of the highest quality standards across all facets of the business, from food and beverage quality to service delivery and facility hygiene.
• Cost & Resource Management: Analyze financial and operational data, prepare reports, and monitor budgets. Work on optimizing operational efficiency, controlling costs (e.g., COGS, labor), and reducing waste to enhance profitability.
• Planning & Analysis: Develop and execute operational and promotional plans to achieve financial and sales targets. Conduct market research and analyze competitor performance to stay ahead of trends.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as an effective liaison between senior management and operational teams, as well as with suppliers and relevant external parties.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector, with at least 3 years of proven experience in a similar leadership role (Operations Manager, General Manager, Area Manager).
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of all aspects of restaurant operations, including kitchen management, service, procurement, inventory, and food safety (e.g., HACCP systems).
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, lead, and guide teams towards achieving objectives. Excellent communication and delegation skills.
• Analytical & Financial Skills: Proven capability to analyze financial statements (P&L), manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
• Personal Attributes: A decisive leadership personality with strong problem-solving abilities, capacity to work under pressure, and effective time management. An intense focus on customer service and attention to detail.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in restaurant or hospitality management are a distinct advantage.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong plus.
