F&B Manager | Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel - 4 Star Hotel
Golden Tulip Hotels Group is inviting experienced hospitality professionals to apply for the position of Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager at its 4-star property located in Nizwa, within the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman. Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The F&B Manager will hold a pivotal leadership role within the hotel's management structure, serving as the primary person in charge of all restaurant, bar, room service, and special event operations related to food and beverage. Core responsibilities include:
- Operational Oversight: Comprehensive daily management of all F&B outlets within the hotel, including the main restaurant, breakfast lounge, bar, and Room Service.
- Quality & Service Assurance: Upholding the highest standards of food and beverage quality and presentation, while ensuring exceptional guest service that aligns with 4-star hotel and Golden Tulip brand standards.
- Team Management: Leading, training, and developing the F&B department staff, fostering a positive and motivating work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
- Financial Management: Preparing and monitoring the department's operational budgets, controlling costs, managing inventory, and working towards achieving financial targets through revenue optimization and expense control.
- Planning & Development: Contributing to the development of food and beverage menus, proposing innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
- Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with all local and international health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards.
- Marketing & Promotion: Working closely with the Sales and Marketing department to create attractive offers and promotions to attract local market customers and visitors.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field. Significant proven experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in food and beverage management, with proven experience in a similar leadership role (e.g., F&B Manager or Assistant F&B Manager) within a 4 or 5-star hotel setting.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of kitchen and restaurant operations, beverage management, guest service, and relevant financial procedures for the department.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional capacity for planning, prioritizing, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Personal Attributes: A dynamic personality with a customer-service orientation, and the ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
