Job Overview

- Collaborating with control engineers and technicians from other departments to ensure system integration.
- Documenting all maintenance, repair, and calibration work in technical reports.
- Strictly adhering to occupational safety protocols in industrial sites, including working with permits and procedures for confined spaces.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Academic Qualification: A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Process Automation, Instrumentation Maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous hands-on experience in maintaining or operating field instrumentation systems, particularly in industrial environments such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, or power generation plants. The required years of experience vary based on the job level (Technician, Senior Technician, Supervisor).
- Technical Skills:
- Practical knowledge of field instrument types (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
- Understanding of analog and digital signal principles (4-20mA, HART, Foundation Fieldbus).
- Ability to use calibration tools and specialized test equipment.
- Knowledge of basic industrial control systems (DCS/PLC) is a strong added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail, problem-solving ability, effective teamwork, good communication skills, and flexibility to work in field locations and sometimes outside regular hours.
