Job Overview

You will become part of a dynamic financial team supporting the operational activities of Club Hawaii. Key Expected Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing periodic financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and monitoring performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards in Bahrain.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to improve financial flows.
• Contribute to internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems (e.g., ERP) for data entry and report generation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or finance role. Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, or retail sector is preferred but not mandatory for outstanding candidates.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for accounting and analytical tasks.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Oracle or SAP is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
