Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Finance Specialist will be appointed within the Finance department and will be responsible for a range of pivotal tasks supporting the company's financial and strategic operations. Expected responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the preparation of periodic financial reports and analytical support for decision-making.
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Supporting financial control operations and ensuring compliance with approved financial policies and procedures.
- Participating in cash flow management and daily banking operations.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide necessary financial support and analysis for projects and initiatives.
- Contributing to internal review and external audit processes.
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity in recording financial transactions and accounts.
- Working on improving financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Finance major) from an accredited university. Professional certifications (such as CMA, CPA, ACCA) are a strong advantage.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in finance or accounting, preferably with some exposure to major real estate development companies, mega-projects, or a multinational corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and investigative skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and face challenges. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Ability to work effectively within a team and in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and sound financial practices.
