Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the hotel's health and fitness team, focused on meeting and exceeding the expectations of hotel guests through high-quality, professional service. The core responsibilities for this role include:
- Providing Instruction & Supervision: Guiding and instructing female guests in the safe and correct use of the hotel's fitness facilities, such as the gymnasium, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Designing Customized Fitness Programs: Assessing female guests' fitness levels and goals, then designing and delivering personalized, safe, and effective exercise programs tailored to their individual needs.
- Monitoring & Support: Continuously monitoring activity in the fitness area, ensuring its cleanliness and readiness, and providing immediate support and motivation to guests.
- Promoting Wellness Culture: Promoting the hotel's health and fitness services and suggesting enhancements to improve the overall guest experience in this sector.
- Upholding Safety Standards: Ensuring full compliance with all applicable health and safety standards within the hotel, and promptly reporting any damaged equipment or potential hazards.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with other hotel departments (e.g., Front Desk, Spa) to provide integrated service and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity at Marriott International, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Gender: This position is for females only.
- Certification & Experience:
- A recognized certification in Personal Training or Fitness from an accredited organization.
- Previous practical experience (typically at least 1 year) in personal training or gym supervision, preferably within a hotel, luxury resort, or high-end health club.
- Personal & Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of fitness principles, anatomy, exercise physiology, and basic nutrition.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to motivate and engage with guests from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- High level of personal fitness and the ability to demonstrate exercises practically.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
