stc bahrain, a leading provider of telecommunications and IT services in the Kingdom, is seeking a highly experienced professional to fill a critical leadership role: Head of Business Development & Sales. This position represents a strategic opportunity for ambitious individuals with a proven track record in driving commercial growth and leading sales teams within a competitive and dynamic environment.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the business development and sales efforts of stc bahrain. This role entails identifying new growth opportunities, building effective sales strategies, and enhancing the company's market share in Bahrain. The leader will work closely with executive teams and various departments to achieve the company's financial and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive business development and sales strategy aligned with stc bahrain's vision and goals.
  • Oversee the performance of sales and business development teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to drive productivity and target achievement.
  • Identify new markets, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities to expand revenue streams and diversify the company's client base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to formulate proactive business plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management on KPIs, sales pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Manage the allocated budget for the Business Development & Sales department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the delivery of superior customer value and maintain high client satisfaction rates.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in business development and/or sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/management role.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications, technology, or related services sector is highly preferred.
  • A demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the business environment in the Bahraini and wider GCC market.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong analytical abilities and strategic planning skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • A dynamic, results-oriented personality with a proactive mindset.
