Job Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for leading and directing the division tasked with identifying market growth opportunities, formulating market entry and expansion strategies, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

Given the leadership nature of the position, responsibilities are expected to include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Markets and Products division that aligns with the company's overall vision and long-term goals.
• Market Research & Analysis: Lead research efforts to analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
• Product Development & Innovation: Oversee the product development process from ideation to launch, including requirement definition, priority management, and ensuring the delivery of distinct customer value.
• Product Performance Management: Monitor and analyze the performance of existing products, proposing improvements or modifications to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
• Market Planning & Expansion: Develop strategies for entering new markets or strengthening presence in existing ones, including pricing, promotion, and distribution plans.
• Leadership & Team Building: Guide and lead a multidisciplinary team of product managers and market analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Development departments to ensure goal alignment and achieve desired outcomes.
• Reporting: Present periodic reports to senior management on the division's performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and progress toward strategic goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is a strong advantage.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience of at least 10 years in product management, strategic marketing, or business development, with clear progression into leadership roles. Experience in the Omani or GCC market will be a significant added advantage.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical & Strategic Skills: Strong capability to analyze complex data, derive actionable insights, and formulate successful strategies.
• Communication & Influencing Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles, business models, and KPIs to measure product and strategy success.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
