Job Description and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving heavy-duty vehicles (such as large trucks or specialized transport vehicles). Key responsibilities include:

• Safely driving heavy vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations in Kuwait.
• Ensuring the secure and reliable transportation of goods or required materials to their designated destinations.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, and reporting any malfunctions or technical issues immediately.
• Accurately handling shipping and delivery documents, such as delivery receipts and signatures.
• Adhering to scheduled timelines while prioritizing safety as the utmost concern.
• Complying with company safety protocols and professional work standards.
• Other related duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license of the appropriate class for operating heavy-duty vehicles in Kuwait (e.g., a first-grade license or equivalent).
• Practical Experience: Proven previous experience in driving heavy-duty vehicles. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive and diverse experience.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record, free from major accidents or serious traffic violations, is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics to perform routine checks and identify minor issues.
• Personal Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessary (depending on job nature).
