Unilever, a leading global Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, is recruiting for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to be based at their BUL Factory in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner will act as a key strategic partner to the BUL Factory leadership and operations team. The focus will be on translating business objectives into effective HR plans and initiatives that support operational growth and efficiency. Key responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with factory leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunities, providing proactive HR solutions and consultancy to address them.
  • Talent Management & Development: Lead succession planning processes, identify skill gaps, and design/implement workforce development plans to ensure the right talent is in place.
  • Organizational Culture & Performance: Foster a positive and driven culture within the factory, leading employee engagement and organizational development initiatives. Support managers in performance management, feedback delivery, and addressing performance issues.
  • Industrial Relations & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and internal company policies. Effectively handle workforce-related matters and maintain positive industrial relations.
  • Day-to-Day Operations Support: Oversee the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, development, etc.) within the factory scope, in collaboration with specialist HR teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Rewards).
  • Data Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data to derive actionable insights and inform decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) will be a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Proven track record of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on the HR Business Partner (HRBP) role. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a crucial advantage.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of comprehensive HR practices (Talent Management, Industrial Relations, OD, etc.). Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and Saudization (Nitaqat) regulations is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and influencing skills at all levels.
    • Analytical ability and data-driven decision-making.
    • Complex problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
    • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
