Job Description

The HR Technology Lead will occupy a leadership position responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the complete HR IT strategy. This role will be the central hub for aligning human capital management requirements with appropriate technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.

Key expected responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing the overall HR technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Managing the lifecycle of core HR systems (e.g., HRMS, Payroll Systems, Performance Management Systems, Employee Self-Service Portals).
  • Evaluating, selecting, and implementing new HR technology solutions and applications.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of HR systems with other systems within the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Overseeing the security and integrity of HR data and compliance with local data protection regulations.
  • Leading HR digital transformation projects and managing associated change.
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users and the HR team.
  • Analyzing HR-related data and metrics to deliver actionable insights to management.
  • Managing the budget and vendors related to HR technology.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this leadership opportunity, you are expected to meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in HR technology (e.g., SHRM, HRIP) is a strong advantage.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 7 years in the IT field, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in HR Technology. Experience must include leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of global Human Capital Management (HCM) systems (such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar) and data integration platforms. Strong understanding of project management principles and information security.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken). Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. The capability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
