HRA Analyst (High Risk Accounts) Job in Dubai
Dicetek LLC is currently recruiting for an HRA Analyst (High Risk Accounts) to be based in their Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. Job Description
The successful analyst will be integrated into a specialized financial risk management team, with primary responsibility for monitoring and evaluating accounts classified as "High Risk." The analyst will work closely with credit, compliance, and operations departments to ensure accurate assessment and effective control of potential risks.
Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Account Identification & Classification: Analyze financial data and transaction records to identify accounts exhibiting high-risk indicators according to internal policies, and local/international regulatory standards.
- Continuous Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive periodic reviews of high-risk accounts, monitoring activity patterns and transactions to detect any unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Reporting: Develop and present detailed analytical reports on review findings, including risk level and procedural recommendations (e.g., enhanced monitoring, account freezing, etc.) to senior management and compliance committees.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all review and assessment processes comply with UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and other relevant legislation.
- Internal Collaboration: Act as a liaison between risk management and operational departments such as customer service and legal teams to coordinate actions related to high-risk accounts.
- Model & Criteria Development: Contribute to the enhancement and development of analytical models and risk assessment criteria used for account risk classification.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Management Information Systems.
- Professional certifications are a significant advantage, such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in areas like credit analysis, financial risk management, financial compliance (AML/CFT), or internal audit, preferably within the banking, financial services, or FinTech sector.
- Proven experience working with high-risk accounts or in a strictly regulated financial environment.
- Practical knowledge of relevant UAE and GCC financial regulations.
Technical and Personal Skills:
- Exceptional Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and presentation software. Knowledge of risk management systems or financial analysis software is a plus.
- Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Strong focus on detail to ensure the precision of reports and analyses.
- Strong Communication & Reporting Skills: Ability to draft clear reports and present findings effectively to various management levels.
- Integrity & Confidentiality: Commitment to the highest professional ethics and handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Manage priorities and work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage in the UAE job market.
