ALNOOH WOODEN PRODUCTS DESIGN W.L.L. is currently recruiting for an In-House Maintenance Supervisor to be based at their headquarters in Manama, Bahrain. Job Overview

The successful candidate will be appointed to lead and supervise all in-house maintenance activities within the company's facilities. This role is vital for ensuring operational continuity, maintaining equipment integrity, and promoting workplace efficiency in a dynamic industrial environment. The supervisor will be directly responsible for the maintenance team and will work to enforce the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervision & Planning: Lead and direct the team of in-house maintenance technicians. Develop preventive maintenance plans and schedule operations to ensure minimal production downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in industrial equipment related to wood manufacturing (e.g., saws, routers, shapers, dust collection systems) and execute prompt, effective repairs.
• Preventive Maintenance: Design and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment to extend their operational life and reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of spare parts and tools, and initiate necessary purchase orders in a timely manner to ensure material availability.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations comply with applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations in Bahrain. Promote a safety culture within the work team.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs, and costs. Prepare periodic reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities for senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and improve maintenance procedures, researching new technical solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Academic Qualification: A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, with preference given to experience in carpentry, wood manufacturing, or similar industries. At least 2 years of prior experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles. Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written). Problem-solving ability for complex issues under pressure. Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Other Requirements: Knowledge of industrial safety systems. Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., MS Office). Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a distinct advantage.
