Job Overview
The Integrated Supply Chain Director holds a pivotal position within PDO's organizational structure, bearing full responsibility for leading and developing the company's comprehensive supply chain strategy. This leader will be accountable for planning, implementing, and operating all supply chain activities to ensure operational efficiency and support the company's operational and financial objectives. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated supply chain strategy aligned with PDO's vision and strategic goals.
- Performance Management: Lead supply chain teams to achieve the highest performance standards in areas of planning, procurement, contract management, inventory, and logistics.
- Process Optimization: Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity across all supply chain functions.
- Supplier & Relationship Management: Develop and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors to ensure service quality, supply reliability, and superior financial value.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the supply chain to ensure operational resilience and business continuity.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure full compliance with all company internal policies, local and international regulations, and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership: Guide, develop, and empower a large, multidisciplinary team to achieve their full potential and meet departmental objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or advanced professional certifications in Supply Chain Management is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles. Experience in the oil and gas sector or heavy industries is considered essential and a prerequisite.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of integrated supply chain principles and practices, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP), complex contract management, and global logistics.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams in a multicultural environment, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong strategic analysis, complex problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
