Job Description

The Interior Designer at ABYAT will be responsible for a core set of duties, including:

• Developing innovative interior design concepts and schemes that meet client requirements and aspirations, while adhering to the company's visual identity.
• Preparing detailed working drawings, plans, and layouts using modern design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Selecting appropriate finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for each project, considering quality, budget, and timeline constraints.
• Coordinating and liaising with suppliers, contractors, and other project teams to ensure the accurate execution of designs as planned.
• Conducting site visits to monitor work progress and ensure implementation aligns with design specifications.
• Delivering professional design presentations to clients and company management.
• Staying updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design and decor industry.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the interior design field, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects and creative capabilities.
• Excellent proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, 3D visualization, and rendering tools.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, finishes, furniture systems, and lighting principles.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple departments, possessing strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) design and decor market is considered a significant advantage.
