Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects from the initial concept stage through to final handover. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Design & Development: Create innovative design concepts and develop detailed technical drawings and specifications (floor plans, elevations, detail drawings) using software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Project Management: Lead and coordinate all project phases, including initial planning, resource scheduling, budget management, quality control, and timely delivery.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the client, suppliers, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure the design vision is accurately executed and client expectations are met.
• Material & FF&E Selection: Research, source, and select finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with the design concept and project budget.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and execution comply with local Dubai building regulations and relevant safety standards.
• Presentation Development: Prepare and present design proposals and client presentations in a compelling and professional manner.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Academic Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the interior design field, with a significant portion involving project management responsibilities. Experience in the UAE or GCC market is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D modeling/rendering applications.
• Managerial Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple project budgets and complex schedules simultaneously.
