Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed IT Infrastructure Specialist will play a central role in ensuring the continuity and efficiency of the technical systems that support company operations. Key responsibilities will include:

• Infrastructure Management & Maintenance: Overseeing servers, storage systems, networks, and associated hardware to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Performance & Security Monitoring: Implementing continuous monitoring tools for system performance, and taking proactive and remedial actions to ensure the security and integrity of data and infrastructure.
• Planning & Development: Contributing to the planning and implementation of projects to develop and upgrade existing infrastructure to meet growing business demands.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnosing and resolving complex technical faults related to infrastructure in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Preparing and updating technical documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
• Technical Support: Providing advanced technical support to the IT team and other departments regarding infrastructure-related issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, preferably in a corporate setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
