Job Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide first and second-level technical support to users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and application software on computers and peripherals.
• Monitor system and network performance, taking preventive and corrective actions to ensure high availability.
• Assist in managing and maintaining company servers, backup systems, and security appliances like firewalls.
• Set up and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
• Provide basic training to users on new applications and systems.
• Document technical procedures, troubleshooting solutions, and system configurations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous work experience in an IT support role or similar is preferred, but highly competent fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Technical Skills:

  • Foundational understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues.
