Job Description

The IT Support Specialist will hold a pivotal role within Boxon's IT team. The core focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of technical workflows, directly supporting the company's operational objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct technical support to staff, resolving day-to-day issues, and participating in the maintenance of systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support to internal users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and proactively resolve problems with computers and peripherals (printers, scanners).
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and related devices.
• Ensure basic information security by enforcing company policies and managing passwords and user accounts.
• Document technical solutions and procedures, and create user guides.
• Collaborate with external vendors or other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Contribute to small technical projects and process improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A recognized professional certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) will be a strong advantage.
• Proven practical experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar role (IT Support, Technical Assistant, Help Desk Administrator).
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (10/11) and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches).

Required Personal Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and simple manner.
